About Us

This is a blog from some of City University, London’s Science Journalism MA students about peer review.

Why write a blog about peer review?

The scientific method is so far the best way to gain knowledge, but it is limited by human errors. Peer review is an important part of the scientific process; helping journals to ensure that the papers they publish are correct and a true representation of the scientific results.

The peer review system is criticised  for many reasons, and it is the aim of this blog to report on the developments of peer review within each scientific field.
